CAVE Simulator

Simulator mode is the default on systems with no VR hardware. To use the simulator on the VR PCs (mediastudy12 & mediastudy11), create the file ~/.caverc (i.e. a file called ".caverc" in your home directory) and put the line:

simulator y

in it. To re-enable the VR hardware, remove your .caverc file, or change the 'y' to an 'n'.
