Come up with an initial proposal for your semester project, and e-mail it to me (dave.pape@acm.org for feedback.
It doesn't have to be very detailed at this point; it just has to involve 3D graphics, and be of an appropriate scale for you to create in about 2 months. You will be expected to make more serious plans for the project next month.
Look at the planned topics listed in the course syllabus, and try to find some that you would be interested in using in your project. If there's something in particular you'd like covered sooner, or in depth, let me know in your e-mail.
